Hard at work on revisions to my latest story, as recommended by my first reader (and wife), Wendy. Her instincts are never wrong when it comes to fiction, so I’m implementing her changes, but it’s been tough. She really only asked for a few things, but they led to a domino effect phenomenon: changing X forced a change to Y, which forced changes to B, C, G, K, and P. One change, in particular, was extremely small on the surface, but forced me to rewrite entire sections of the story. Definitely got in for more than I’d expected with these revisions, but what can I say? Wendy’s never wrong on this stuff. If she says it’ll improve the story, it’ll improve the story. So enough whining already! On with the edits! See you soon!
