New Essay Blasts Off in Mars One Book

What will leisure time be like on Mars? That’s the question I try to answer in my latest essay, “A Canvas as Big as a World,” which is featured in the new book, Mars One, Humanity’s Next Great Adventure. Here’s the awesome cover by Bryan Versteeg, the Mission Concept Artist for the Mars One mission:

You can order a copy right now from Amazon right here, from Barnes and Noble right here, or search for it by name on your Kindle, Nook, or other e-reading device or app. It’s a great book, an in-depth exploration of the many technological and human implications and complications of the upcoming Mars One mission to place a colony on the Red Planet. Many of the essays are written by scientists and experts in fields related to the mission, and all of them provide fascinating insights into what the mission might be like when it finally happens. If you love dreaming of interplanetary exploration and witnessing (or being a part of) the first landing of humans on Mars, you’re going to love this book!
