Let’s hit a bunch of topics in brief this time…
1. I can’t wait for new episodes of LOST, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, and DAMAGES, all coming this month. Especially LOST! How can they possibly top last season? I bet they’ll do it!
2. Reading about the terrible situation in Mexico, with the crime wars, kidnappings, etc. That country is literally falling into total anarchy.
3. Can’t wait for Mr. Obama’s impending inauguration! I worked on the local campaign in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, so this is a long-awaited reward.
4. I hit the pool at the YMCA today and did pretty well, matching my personal best with 24 strokes on 1 breath. Now if I can make it to 30, that should get me the whole way across the pool.
5. Still reading A RUSH OF WINGS by my good friend Adrian Phoenix. Great vampire vs. serial killer yarn!
6. Got some great Miles Davis CDs courtesy of Amazon’s Christmas sales and can’t wait to plug ’em in!
7. Beck’s latest disk, MODERN GUILT, is fantastic!
