FLOOD CITY COMICS
Back in the mid-to-late1980s, I worked on Flood City Comics, a small press comic book published in Johnstown, Pennsylvania (a.k.a. "the Flood City"). Flood City Comics was sold in bookstores, newsstands, and other outlets in the Johnstown area. I helped launch FCC and served as editor for several issues, as well as contributing scripts, artwork, and lettering. Oddly enough, FCC started with issue #100, and consecutive issues were numbered backward from 100. Thus, the cover to issue 98, below, actually graced the third issue of the book.

| Later issues, however, were numbered as if the first issue, #100, was issue #1. The cover pictured below appeared on Flood City Comics #5, which would have been #96 if the original backward numbering scheme had stuck, or...oh, never mind. |
| The following two-page story appeared in Flood City Comics #4. I provided the script, and the talented Scott Hawk supplied the artwork. |

| And, finally, there's Johnstown Man, also from Flood City Comics #4. Yes, Virginia, there was a Johnstown Man, and I wrote the script... |
