Monday morning, a black cat crossed my path on my way to work. The bad luck has been with me ever since. What a crappy two days. One hassle after another; one unpleasant encounter after another. The writing rejections, especially, have been flowing freely. Typically, I get one or two a day anyway, but these past two days, I’ve gotten an avalanche. Hopefully, my luck will turn around tomorrow in time for Thanksgiving. I have a feeling it will. Times like this, I just have to put my head down and muscle through as best I can. Cross your fingers that the wave of rejections will abate and things will take a turn for the better. Please, no turkey bones in the throat or bad giblet gravy tomorrow! See you soon!
